Ultrasound is a procedure that uses a transducer, an instrument that emits sound waves and captures the echoes which in turn produces real time images on the computer screen.

Examination Preparation:
If order indicates you will need to be NPO (no food after midnight)
Some examinations require you to have a full bladder per order.
